Garretson, International President of Altrusa International, Inc., requests the presidents of the nearly 400 Altrusa International clubs, located in countries around the world, to encourage all of their members, their families, and friends, to sign on to the Say No -- UNiTE--16 Days of Activism to End Gender Violence campaign.

What is 16 Days of Activism? 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence is an international campaign that began in 1991, at the first Women’s Global Institute sponsored by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership. From November 25th, the International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women, to December 10th, International Human Rights Day, the campaign calls on individuals and groups around the world to take action to end all forms of violence against women and girls.
