Alternativas Pacíficas is an NGO that has supported more than 63,000 women and children victims of violence since 1996. Alternativas Pacíficas has created the first shelter for women in the country offering multidisciplinary attention, and operates the only two shelters existent in the state of Nuevo León.

MISSION:
To promote the practice of alternatives to prevent and disactivate domestic and gender-based violence.

VISION:
To transform the culture of violence against women into a culture of equity and respect through the application of peaceful alternatives.

VISION 2015:
To consolidate ourselves as a self-sufficient social enterprise, specialized in promoting the protection and defense of the rights of women, with the capacity to influence public policies, from a gender perspective.

OBJECTIVES:
To create and maintain shelters for women and their children who live violence so as to offer them multidisplicinary attention from a gender perspective.
To work with the community on prevention activities.
To support research projects.
