Women's Studies
The men and women of Women's Studies 101 Introduction to Women's Studies will learn and teach others on our campus about Violence Against women in our our country and around the world during an Activism Forum on Campus on Dec.7, 2009. We are over 120 students dedicated to informing others in our community about SAYING NO to gender violence.

For the 6th year Students, Faculty and Staff Participated in our campus Take Back the Night. The evening included: a Silent Protest, tabling, speaker, a survivor's circle and a Take Back the Night March. Over 250 people participated in this annual event. |

50 women from Nancy Cairns-Pietrangelo's Women's Studies 101 courses at California State University attended a self defense workshop on December 7 and 8th with the Center of Community Solutions and sponsored by the Women's Studies Student Association at CSUSM. |
